How we help

From referral to solicitor — we're with you every step.

Whether you come to us directly or are referred by another organisation, you don't have to navigate the legal system alone. We take on the complex work of building your case, so that when you reach a solicitor, everything is in order and ready to act on.

01

Referral received

We receive your referral

You can come to us directly — you do not need anyone to refer you. We also receive referrals from the police, local authorities, housing associations, and other statutory or voluntary organisations. However you reach us, we make first contact promptly and explain what happens next in plain, straightforward language.

02

We listen

We listen to you

We take time to understand your situation fully — at your pace, in a way that feels safe. Everything you share with us is treated with complete confidentiality. Our team is trained in trauma-informed practice, so we know how to support you sensitively.

03

We prepare your file

We prepare your case file

We gather the evidence, organise your documents, and build a complete, well-structured case file. This includes timelines, supporting evidence, and all the information a solicitor will need to act on your behalf quickly and effectively.

04

Handover to a solicitor

We hand over to a solicitor

Once your case file is complete, we pass it to a qualified solicitor. Because the groundwork is done, the solicitor can focus on giving you legal advice and taking action — without you having to start from scratch.

You are not alone in this.

Many people feel overwhelmed when they are first referred to us. That is completely understandable. Our role is to take the burden of the process off your shoulders, so you can focus on your safety and wellbeing.
