Safeguarding Policy
Our commitment
Lantern Pathways is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all clients, particularly those who are vulnerable or at risk. We take our safeguarding responsibilities seriously and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Designated safeguarding lead
Our designated safeguarding lead is responsible for overseeing safeguarding practice within the organisation. Contact details are available on request by emailing info@lanternpathways.co.uk.
Staff vetting
All Lantern Pathways staff hold enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. We follow safer recruitment practices for all appointments.
Trauma-informed practice
Our team is trained in trauma-informed approaches. We recognise the impact of trauma on the people we support and work sensitively and at the pace of each individual client.
Reporting concerns
If you have a safeguarding concern about a client or a member of staff, please contact us immediately at info@lanternpathways.co.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.
